Create pages for whatever your site needs — custom landing pages for your popular services, pages for the cities you serve, a seasonal promotion — and manage the header and footer that appear on every page.
The editor saves your changes automatically. They appear on your live website the next time you publish.
How pages get made
Every page starts with a description. Tell the agent what you want — "Add a page for gutter cleaning" — and it creates the page, designs it, and usually adds it to your header's navigation where it makes sense.
If you'd rather set the name and web address first, start from the Pages dropdown:
Open the Pages dropdown (your page's name, top left) and click +.
Enter a Name — the URL slug fills in automatically, or set your own.
Click Create page.
You land on the empty page with a prompt: describe what you want, and the agent designs it. Review its work and iterate — "warmer colors", "add a photo gallery" — until it's right.
Your header and footer
The header and footer are special kinds of reusable elements that are added by default to new pages and are available site wide. They edited in one place so changes propagate to all pages with using them. Open them from the Pages dropdown and click Header or Footer.
The header's links live under Menu Items. The list doesn't automatically mirror your pages — which is what lets landing pages stay out of it — so it's yours to curate:
Add page link — link to one of your pages. Draft pages don't appear in the picker.
Add external link — link to another website.
Add link menu — a dropdown containing several links.
Drag items to reorder them; every page's header updates.
Logo and booking button
In Header Settings, Upload site logo replaces the logo shown in the header, and the button controls set the text and link for the button at the right end of the header — most sites point it at booking.
Footer
The footer is created the first time you open it. Describe what you want, or edit
it directly like any part of a page. The footer is fully customizable just like your pages.
Page controls
The per-page tools, all reached from the Pages dropdown.
Keep a page off your live site. Open the ⋯ menu on the page and click Mark as Draft — drafts are excluded when you publish, and show a Draft badge. Mark as Live puts the page back.
Change a page's URL or search listing. Select the page and click the gear icon next to its name:
Slug. The page's URL path. Your home page's slug is always just the bare domain, and a slug that's reserved or already in use won't save.
Meta Title and Meta Description. How the page appears in search results.
Hide this page from search engines (noindex). Adds a tag to your page asking search engines not to index the page.
OG Image. The image shown when the page is shared on social media; falls back to your site-wide default.
Rename, duplicate, or delete. All in the page's ⋯ menu, along with Page history for earlier versions.
Make a landing page. In page settings, uncheck Show header on this page or Show footer on this page, and leave the page out of your navigation — you get a standalone page for ads or campaigns.
Edit your 404 page. Click 404 Page in the Pages dropdown — what visitors see when they hit a link that doesn't exist. It's created the first time you open it, and edited like any other page.
