Viewing drive time estimates when assigning jobs

When assigning service providers to jobs in Zenbooker, you can see the approximate drive time between the unassigned job and the current jobs your workers are already assigned to.


Here's how it works:

Drive time estimates will appear for providers who have at least one job already on their schedule for the day. These estimates are based on the typical drive times between locations.

If the provider has a job that starts before the one you're trying to assign, the location of that previous job is used as the start location for the drive time estimate. If the provider has no prior assignments scheduled before the job's start time, the location of the next job on their schedule is used instead.

You can click "View schedule" for a provider to quickly see what's already been assigned to them and their remaining availability for the day. Hovering over a job on the provider's schedule will show the duration of that job and the drive time from it to the job you're assigning for.


Where to find this feature:

You can find this information by simply going to an unassigned job - which is most easily accessible by going to either the Jobs or Schedule side tab.

From there, click on the job, scroll down until you see a box on the right that says Assigned, and click Assign.

If the Show approximate drive time toggle is switched on, you'll see a drive time estimate for your different workers. Note: it will only show a drive time estimate for a service provider if they have other jobs they're assigned to that day.


Mobile Site

This ability to view drive time estimates is also accessible on the mobile site. Simply go to a job, scroll down to the Assigned section, and then click Assign.
