Adding and generating images

Upload or generate images for use on your site

Images are part of how pages get built. When the agent creates a page, it places photos from your library if they fit; everywhere else it adds an image placeholder holding a written description of the image to generate, along with whichever of your brand references it expects to be useful.

Fill a placeholder

Click a placeholder and fill it one of two ways:

  1. Generate with AI. The description comes prefilled if the placeholder was placed by the agent. Generate it as-is, edit it, or tap 💡 for prompt ideas based on the page.

Depending on the image and subject, brand references may be attached to the description. Those are sent to the image generation model along with the prompt, so a generated image can match your real van, uniforms, or branding. You can remove any that aren't relevant before generating.

  2. Upload or pick from library. Choose a photo from your library, or upload a new one, and it drops straight into the placeholder.

Generate an image anywhere

You can also drag an Image onto the page from the Insert panel, click Generate with AI on its toolbar, and describe what you want. You can also ask in the agent panel's chat — it generates and places images, including your own photos dropped into the conversation.

Once an image is on the page, you can keep working on it — describe changes, swap it, or remove its background.

Keep images true to your business

Generated images follow your Image guidelines and draw on your reference photos, so they match your branding and look. You can set yours in brand references and image guidelines in the design tab of the builder.
