How to host your site on your own domain

Your published website is always available at your free subdomain — your-booking-slug.zenbooker.app — and you can connect one or more custom domains. The primary domain is the canonical URL for SEO and your shareable link.

Connect a custom domain

  1. From the Zenbooker website editor, go to Settings → Domain.

  2. Under Custom Domains, enter your domain (for example, www.example.com) and click Add.

  3. If you added the www version, you'll be offered the bare version too (and vice versa). Add both — most visitors expect both to work.

  4. Click View DNS on the domain and add the listed records at your DNS provider. There are three kinds:

    • Domain Verification — proves you own the domain.

    • Traffic Routing — a CNAME pointing your domain at proxy-fallback.zenbooker.app.

    • SSL Validation — lets the SSL certificate be issued.

Note: Root domains (like example.com without www) can't use standard CNAME records. Your DNS provider needs to support CNAME flattening or ALIAS/ANAME records — if it doesn't, connect www.example.com instead.
