How to build custom forms on your pages

You can add custom forms for things like a contact-us page or a job application directly in the site editor. For bookings and service requests, use booking widgets instead.

When a visitor submits a form, you get an email and the submission shows up in the Requests tab in your Zenbooker account.

Add a form

Tell the agent what kind of form you want and what it should collect, and it will build the form into the page's design. You can edit the fields directly for style — spacing, colors, label text. To change how a field behaves — its input type, or whether it's required — ask the agent.

The form starts taking submissions on your live website once you publish.

See your submissions

You can view your submissions in Requests > Form Submissions in the Zenbooker admin. Each submission records the page it was sent from and how the visitor found your site.

The email notification goes to the account owner — or, if a business notification email is set in Settings > Business, they will go to that address instead.

Accept photo and file uploads

Ask the agent to add an upload field. Visitors can attach up to 5 files, 10 MB each: photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF) and PDFs.

Change the success message

The success message is on the page but hidden until a visitor submits the form. To edit it, find it in the Layers panel, inside the form, and click the eye icon next to it to show it. Edit it like any other element, then click the eye again to hide it. Or ask the agent to edit it.
