With Zenbooker, your clients can receive automated notifications for appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and other important updates.
As a user, you can tailor your messages to meet the specific needs of your business. You can also choose to turn off specific notification categories as needed.
How to edit a notification template
1. From your Zenbooker admin, go to Settings > Client & Team Notifications
2. Select the name of the notification you want to edit. In this example, we've chosen to edit the Appointment Confirmation text.
Many notification types include an email version and a text message version. You can disable one or both of them, as well as customize the content of each individually.
3. Scroll down to the email section and click Edit email.
To the right, you will see a preview of how the email will look when sent.
Email template options
From here, you can completely personalize your email's subject line and body. This includes the ability to incorporate dynamic message variables, which are tags that will be replaced with the appropriate job or customer information once the email is sent. Additionally, you can modify the style and format of your email messages.
Adding images to email templates
You can easily add images to your email templates, including manually adding a custom version of your logo.
Select the place in the email where you want to add an image.
Click the picture icon in the formatting toolbar.
Choose which image from your computer that you'd like to add.
Tip: While you can add SVG image files to your email template, not all email providers support displaying images in this format. PNG and JPG formats are safe bets for ensuring your images display correctly.
If you want to adjust the size or alignment of an image in your email, all you have to do is click on it. You'll then see options that allow you to resize or align it with the rest of the content.
Adding links to email templates
You can also include links in the emails, such as your website, cancelation policy, or even your Google business page.
Create some text that you want to act as the linking text. For example, if you're linking to your Google Business page, you might add something like "Leave us a review on Google."
Highlight the text.
Click on the link icon in the formatting toolbar.
Enter the URL that you want to link to.
Click Save.
SMS Message Options
To customize your SMS notification messages, click the "Edit message" button in the SMS template section. A similar editing screen should greet you once you do. In addition to text, you can incorporate dynamic message variables into your SMS templates for more personalized and informative notifications.
