Enabling Push Notifications in the Mobile Web App for iOS and Android

Stay up-to-date on new jobs, scheduling events, and team activities by enabling push notifications on the Zenbooker mobile web app. Follow these simple steps to make sure you never miss any crucial updates.


Enabling Notifications on Android

  1. Open the Zenbooker App: Launch the Zenbooker mobile web app on your Android device.

  2. Navigate to Settings: Tap your user icon in the app's top-right corner.

  3. Enable Push Notifications: Go to the 'Notifications' section and toggle the switch to enable push notifications.

Enabling Notifications on iOS

Note: To enable push notifications on iOS, you must be running iOS version 16.4 or later and add the app to your home screen. Learn more

  1. Add to Home Screen: Open the Zenbooker mobile web app in Safari and add it to your home screen by tapping the 'Share' icon and selecting 'Add to Home Screen.'

  2. Open the App: Launch the Zenbooker app from your home screen.

  3. Navigate to Settings: Tap your user icon in the app's top-right corner.

  4. Enable Push Notifications: Go to the 'Notifications' section and toggle the switch to enable push notifications.

Notification Events

After enabling push notifications, you'll receive alerts for the following activities based on your role as a Service Provider, Manager, or both.

Service Provider Notifications:

  • A new job is assigned to you.

  • A new recurring booking is assigned to you.

  • A new claimable job offer is available.

  • An assigned job is rescheduled.

  • An assigned job is canceled.

  • A note is added to an assigned job or recurring booking.

Manager Notifications:

  • New online bookings.

  • New jobs scheduled by teammates.

  • A job offer is claimed by a service provider.

  • Jobs are rescheduled or canceled.

  • A customer rates their service.

  • A new note is added to a job, recurring booking, or customer profile.

Note: If you have both Service Provider and Manager roles, you will receive notification alerts for both roles.
